Who is the registrar?

The company that keeps the list of who applied and decides who gets shares.
A company running an IPO does not count the applications itself. It hires somebody to do it.

There are only a handful of registrars in India, and each IPO names its own. You will see the same few names again and again.
A day or two after an IPO closes, the registrar publishes the result. That is the moment you can find out what you got.
